Head of Sales Preston, PR260k - 70k depending on experience + Car or 10% Car Allowance + Bonus & BenefitsDo you have experience leading large teams within a fast paced multi-channel sales environment (B2C)?Do you have experience of operating in an FCA regulated environment?About the role:We are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Head of Sales to join our leading FMCG retail client team within our Customer Management division based in Preston, Lancashire. The role of Head of Sales will have both strategic and operational responsibilities. You will play a fundamental role in developing future growth, and provide strategic vision, direction and leadership. The candidate will be responsible for leading the outsourced Sales Operation for a leading FMCG retailer, ensuring alignment of client goals with delivery by Capita. Engagement with senior client teams to ensure a strong relationship is maintainedAbout Capita | Customer Management:Capita Customer Management is part of Capita plc, the UK's leading provider of business process management and integrated professional support service solutions, with 68,000 staff across the UK, Europe, South Africa and India.What you will do: Create and execute a long term Sales Strategy that identifies how long term profitability for both Capita and the client can be achieved Create an environment and culture within the department which supports the year on year increases of sales performance Build and foster a creative, innovative approach to sales whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements Demonstrate a clear understanding of daily, weekly and monthly contractual performance levels across each KPI, showing understanding of any weak area and having clear action plans in place to overcome Set clear targets across each KPI for each Ops Manager, Team Manager and Advisor to deliver to expectation, ensuring a high level requirement is met in all instances Work closely with key internal stakeholders and the client to understand and positively influence all Sales Contractual requirements Act as the key client point of contact for all sales related areas and provide daily/weekly updates on performance and recommendations as to how revenue in their business could be increased Understand cost drivers and non-value added activity within the Sales area and work with the LEAN and BI teams to eradicate any waste demand and increase account profitability Create and execute a long term Sales Strategy that identifies how long term profitability for both Capita and the client can be achieved. Review commission payments on a monthly basis to guide forward thinking target setting, aiming to achieve stretch from each individual without exceeding commission pot Be a key stakeholder on all business critical projects and transformation requirements, to ensure end result is fit for purpose and delivered within project timescales. Work closely with direct reports to produce clear development plans for all and who in turn, create development plans for their direct reports, aimed at increasing performance levels and building successful succession planning. Work closely with the Capita and client Compliance Teams to ensure the department adheres to all compliance guidelines and FCA requirements Work closely with the members of the Planning teams to ensure the most effective use of resource is upheld to meet targets and objectives in the most profitable method.Your experience will include: Experience in participating at senior client MSR's and MBR's Ability to identify financial savings and opportunities Experience of leadership in a fast paced multi-channel sales (B2C) environment is required (minimum 2 - 3 years) Experience of leading large teams (100+ heads) Demonstrable experience of operating within FCA regulated environments for both insurance sales and consumer credit arrangements The ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team Track record of exceeding sales goals and customer expectations Strong coaching and people development skills Experience of managing Inbound and Outbound Telesales Operations Excellent communication skills Great networking skills Commercially astute with an ability to control the cost base Creative thinking who can see the business opportunities Problem solver Strong relationship building skills Ability to be resilient and persistent What's in it for you?At Capita, training and development aren't optional extras: they're how we do our job.
