Controls Assurance Manager x 3 South Manchester / Cheshire This leading bank is currently recruiting 3 additional Controls Assurance professionals to join a new team based in Cheshire / South Manchester. These new roles will join a centralised Assurance function that is tasked with delivering oversight and assurance on other Assurance teams. They are looking to recruit people with strong Risk and Control Assurance experience, either gained in within a big 4 firm or audit function, or within another bank's risk and control function. You will have strong stakeholder management skills and be able to build strong relationships with business leaders. These stakeholder skills will allow you to provide effective challenge where required, for example when reviewing closure packs or reviewing significant issues. You will also be familiar with controls testing and the measurement and documentation of controls testing. Within the role you will be involved in conduct assurance and oversight of significant issues, identifying and tracking, reporting on closure, as well as conduct quality assurance assessments and conformance reviews of adherence to defined assurance processes for issues closure. You will also be involved in identifying and escalating thematic and emerging critical issues through regular analysis of the Risk & Control data, and performing ad-hoc assurance on critical processes.
