Location: UK Leeds Office Description/Responsibilities: This individual will be responsible for providing tier II support for aManaged Service and Security Provider (MSSP). The successful candidatewill be an integral member of the security engineering team and willneed to be fully cognizant of state-of-the-art network, firewall, andother security technologies, products and solutions as well as industrybest practice with regard to the design, implementation and deploymentof firewall solutions. This individual should have hands-on experience managing firewalls suchas Fortigate, Cisco ASA, Linux, Checkpoint, SonicWall or Palo Alto. Theindividual must also be experienced in the deployment, configuration andmaintenance of the ArcSight SIEM platform. Successful candidates will beable to communicate, and document instructions effectively with Tier 1,2, and 3 support teams. Excellent customer service skills and writtencommunication are required. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: An Associate, Bachelors, or Master's degree preferably in Computer Engineering/Networking, international equivalent, or equivalent experience Demonstratable experience in deploying, configuring and maintaining ArcSight SIEM solutions Comprehensive experience designing, implementing, and deploying firewalls, IDS/IPS, authentication systems, log management, content filtering , and technologies based on Information Security Best Practices Evident experience in networking, troubleshooting, and analysis tools Expert understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP, access-control lists, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, MPLS, and dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP Evaluates and recommends solutions for highly complex security systems according to industry best practices to safeguard internal information systems and databases Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Exceptional ability to work in a cooperative team environment to formulate complex technical solutions On-call Duties Desired: Firewall Vender Certification, preferably Fortinet/Cisco/Linux Firewall Vendor Certification, Checkpoint CCSA and/or CCSM ArcSight SIEM Certification Security Certifications: CompTIA Security+, GIAC, CCNA, FCNSA, FCNSP The ability to define security requirements and subsequently reviews complex systems to determine if they have been designed to comply with established standards The ability to conduct research and inform management of appropriate developments in firewall, IDPS, WCF, VPN, and secure networking technologies/products Compensation: A competitive package consisting of a base salary andfull company benefits Advert start date: 29/09/17 Advert closing date: 01/11/17 Help us secure a connected world by being an unseen hero.
