I am urgently looking to find an Embedded Software Engineer to join a brilliant electronics design house near Basingstoke, working on some innovative and ground breaking projects for a range of customers. The company have a real mix of design work available, and this would suit someone not afraid to get involved with all aspects of the design lifecycle, and able to juggle multiple projects! Location: Basingstoke Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 (Dependant on experience level) Length: Permanent The Role: The successful candidate will be involved in the whole development lifecycle, from requirements capture through to production. This will include design and verification of software modules for a range of applications. You will be able to successfully interface with the hardware team to ensure the efficient and timely release of projects. You will be fully versed in technical and documentation writing to meet ISO compliance standards. From time to time, the successful candidate may be tasked with helping the end customer on site to provide a real end to end service. Key Skills: Degree level qualified in a relevant subject At least 5 years' experience programming in C for Embedded Systems Ability to develop Bare-Metal applications on modern Microcontrollers -Ideally with experience of ARM Cortex-M series processors. Ability to read and understand schematics, datasheets and errata notices. Desirable Skills: Embedded Linux experience Linux Kernel Device Driver experience Good working knowledge of another programming language not related to 'C'. The company are looking to move quickly on the right candidate, and have interview slots available throughout the first 2 weeks of October. They are looking for someone that works well as part of a team, and has experience or is happy to work on the whole development lifecycle.
