A supplier of vacuum furnaces is currently recruiting a Service Engineer. You will be tasked with both preventative and reactive maintenance. The successful candidate will be well practised with Vacuum or Atmosphere Furnaces ideally with an electrical bias. You will be field based working as part of a team who cover the UK and will involve European travel from time to time.
Commutable from: UK, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Oxford, Plymouth, Cardiff, Bristol, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen.
Salary: £35,000 - £45, 000. + Company vehicle + bonus + life assurance + pension.

This is a field based role to work as part of a Service Team covering the UK, therefore you will be required to travel to client sites throughout the UK with occasional travel to Europe.
To provide routine servicing and breakdown assistance to customers.
Carry out start-up and commissioning of vacuum and furnace equipment.
Train customers in safe operation and maintenance of vacuum and furnace equipment.
Carry out start up/commissioning work on vacuum furnace and associated equipment.
To carry out and control installations of vacuum and furnace equipment
Look for recommendations and opportunities to improve the clients system, (reliability or productivity) and where appropriate provide quotations to the client for parts, consumables, plant upgrades and refurbishment work.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Service / Maintenance Engineer ideally with a multi-skilled background and an electrical bias. Applicants must have proven experience of providing maintenance with either Vacuum or Atmosphere Furnaces. You must be flexible to travel to customers sites throughout the UK with occasional European travel dependant on your schedule.
