A Charging Systems Engineer is required to work for a leading automotive OEM. The position will be a long term contract role based in Gaydon, Warwickshire and is paying a rate of up to £28.10 Ltd Co per hour.

Power Supply Systems is an area within the Powertrain Electrification Group that designs all areas of power generation, storage, management and off-board charging for company vehicles. The suitable Charging Engineer would have responsibility for all levels of vehicles, from conventional cars, through micro-hybrid, mild hybrid, plug-in and full electric vehicles.

The Charging Systems Engineer is responsible for acceptance, creation and cascade of Charging System Requirements, the tracking and monitoring of system delivery and quality analysis of the overall system.

To apply for this position you should have some of the following:

  • Broad understanding of Hybrid Vehicle (HV) electrical systems, especially related to vehicle charging.
  • Requirements-based engineering processes.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts, data and conclusions within the team and to stakeholders.
