Experience in SAGE 50 and SAGE PAYROLL essential.
This position would suit an individual with at least 2-3 years experience using SAGE software, preferably in an accountancy practice, good interpersonal skills who enjoys dealing directly with clients.

Duties will include:
  • Responsible for numerous clients book-keeping and payroll in house and at clients premises.
  • Preparation of VAT Returns.
  • Processing Payroll, CIS and Pensions
  • Preparation of Management accounting information.
  • And any other ad hoc duties.
Key Tasks:The applicant should be competent in all areas of book keeping including sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliation, journals, VAT returns, ESCL, month end, quarter end and year end procedures.
Payroll Responsibilities include the administration of monthly, fortnightly and weekly client payrolls within an allocated portfolio, CIS submissions, Auto Enrolment and RTI Compliance.

Skills required:
  • Numerate and literate.
  • High level of IT literacy.
  • Working knowledge of payroll legislation and reporting requirements including payments/CIS/deductions and RTI.
  • Working knowledge of VAT legislation.
