Change Recruitment Group are working with a leading Chartered Accountancy Practice in Glasgow to assist them in the recruitment of an experienced Transaction Services Manager or TS Senior Manager. The purpose of this role is to work with the Directors and Partners to develop and grow the Transaction Services business within Corporate Finance, as well as developing the team and expanding this in line with the overall business growth. To be successful in this role you will have a strong understanding and experience of financial due diligence for corporate or strategic buyers, private equity, or financial buyers and vendors. The role will involve: · Support and contribute to the management of the Corporate Finance team with other Assistant Directors, Directors and Partners · Project manage larger Corporate Finance engagements, including the identification and resolution of project issues prior to Partner review. Assume responsibilities for project execution and delivery to designated timelines · Lead the development of existing and new service stream practices · Convert existing opportunities into future Corporate Finance work, and identify new project opportunities for Corporate Finance · Build strong and sustainable relationships with clients, establishing both a rapport and trust and you will assume a real ownership of client relationships and projects · Project management responsibilities including performance management, knowledge sharing, completion of appraisal documents, training and recommendations for promotion · Act as a mentor to team members and provide coaching with a view to assisting them to achieve their personal career goals · Communicate difficult or complex messages in a prompt and clear manner · Contribute and play an active role in the development of new business relationships, marketing and business proposals Requirements for the role: · Must hold a full Accountancy qualification i.e. ICAS / ICAEW / ACCA etc. · Minimum of 6 years’ experience working within a Public Practice environment i.e. Big 4 / Top 10 with recent Corporate Finance experience · Minimum 3 years’ local Corporate Finance experience required · Must be technically very strong including having extensive financial due diligence experience i.e. for corporate or strategic buyers, private equity, or financial buyers and vendors · Must have proven past experience of identifying and winning new business opportunities · Strong team management skills To discuss this role confidentially, please contact Kasia Mackie
