Role summary As Product Manager for Threat Detection, you will guide a team that ischarged with developing ways to identify cyber threats across a widerange of different data sources. Detecting threats efficiently andeffectively is key to all our protection and monitoring products, andyour role extends from enhancing existing services to developing newproducts and services for the company. You will run a structured,transparent process to identify which threats we should focus on first,and whether simple rules or complex analytics are the best approach forthem, building the case for investments to keep pace with the cyberthreat landscape. You will help build products from existing ideas, and help to developnew ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with themarket. To be successful you will possess a unique blend of business andtechnical ability with a desire to innovate. As a Product Manager, youwill be spending time with customers, partners, prospects, and analyststo understand problems, and find high value solutions for the broadermarket. This role reports to the Product Director and requires you tocommunicate effectively with all areas of the company, from BoardDirector to Junior Analyst. Having the opportunity to work with theEngineering and Marketing teams, you will look to define product releaserequirements and communications to our target markets. You will alsoserve as the internal and external champion for our products, workingwith the sales channel and key customers. This role is primarily based in our Guildford head office however weare happy to discuss flexible home working or alternative officearrangements. You'll be required to travel to customer and non-customersites in North America, EMEA and JPAC on a regular basis, approximately1 week per 2 - 3 months. Flexibility with regards to a consultinglifestyle is essential. What you'll be doing Managing the Tactics, Techniques and Procedures process for identifying and prioritising threat detection initiatives. Driving a solution set across global teams (primarily Development/Engineering, Operations, and Marketing & Communications) through market requirements, positioning and assisting with Buy, Build Partner decisions. Working with the Product Director to develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute. Analysing potential partner relationships for the products. What we're looking for Previous experience of Cyber threat analysis or threat detection development. Previous product management experience beneficial. Up to date knowledge of the Cyber Security services market. A keen interest in Cyber threats, trends and attack groups.
