About the roleIT Delivery is part of UK IT and covers e2e programmes and projectsacross our IT estate. From consumer propositions to large IT upgradesyoull be accountable for e2e IT Delivery. This is a dynamic team thatensures quality is built into Vodafones exciting new products &services from the outset.Youll be working closely with sponsors, analysts, architects, technicaldomain teams, testing and operations to ensure the projects you areworking on deliver on time and are of high quality. The work is fast paced and challenging and it is a great opportunity tohelp us ensure our customers continue to enjoy first class services, nomatter where they are.Your Responsibilities Customers, supplier and third parties Manage stakeholder engagement and work effectively with a wide range of customer-obsessed internal stakeholders; understanding and supporting their business goals whilst maintaining the Vodafone strategic and commercial position Driving improvements in supplier delivery through strong commercial awareness and directive management of suppliers Leadership and teamwork Build, lead, motivate, direct and support the cross-functional delivery teams by developing a clear vision of successes and nurturing strong relationships and trust within the team lead from the front, keeping the team informed, acting as a confident and supportive leader Identify all stakeholders, suppliers and delivery functions at kick off, build strong relationships that are nurtured and constantly reassessed through lifecycle Build a Delivery team and sense of fun Innovation and change Continuously check that the project deliverables innovatively deliver business and technical change that drive forward Vodafones transformation Constantly re-evaluate costs versus benefits through project life-cycle, challenging broader team (including Sponsor) to think outside of the box to innovatively deliver benefits, challenging and improving process as required Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, flexible in adapting to adapt to constantly changing priorities and ways of working Communication Succinct, meaningful communication that commands respect and confidence that allow rapid and informed decision making at all levels Professional presentation skills Knowledge and experienceEssential Extensive cross functional end to end Technical Delivery experience Professional Qualification Prince 2 / ITIL / MSP or significant equivalent experience Understanding of the application development lifecycle Proficient in budget management, planning and forecasting.
