Reporting into the MD, you will be a key member of the team helping to drive sales and profitability of our craft based jewellery category, whilst managing stock within agreed company targets.

Range Building and Planning:

  • Contribute to setting of the annual category strategy and quarterly seasonal strategy
  • Agree plans with the buyer that will achieve sales and profit targets and deliver against agreed category strategy and communicate with the wider business
  • Plan budgets and present range forecasts for proposed ranges alongside buyers in quarterly range review
  • Identify new business opportunities to grow sales and profitability

Trading the Range:

  • Present weekly sales and profit analysis to management team in the Trading meeting, highlighting appropriate actions to ensure targets are met
  • Monitor daily SKU performance to identify potential best sellers and suggest actions to maximise their potential
  • Drive sales by working cross functionally to gather insight from across the business to make improvements to the product offering

Stock Management:

  • Manage category stock ordering process, delivering against service level, OTB and company KPI's
  • Provide a weekly summary of orders
  • Plan stock and communicate via updated WSSI


  • Experience at Merchandiser level or equivalent
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to extract insightful information from complex data analysis for decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong cross-functional working relationships
  • Confidence when leading negotiations, or presenting in meetings
  • Initiative and a creative approach to solving problems
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others
  • Experience in initiating and managing change
