IT Project Manager
Affinity Water, it flows through our name and everything we do. Every day we supply millions of litres of safe, high quality drinking water to our customers. We are largest water-only supplier in the UK, with a vision to become the leading community focussed water company. We only recruit the best and we are looking for two experienced IT Project Managers to help us to deliver our vision.
You will be responsible for leading a range of concurrent IT and Business Change projects with large cross-functional teams. As an IT Project Manager, you will quickly develop a through understanding of Affinity Water as a business, this will allow you to step back and analyse our problems then use project management techniques to recommend and deliver appropriate technology-based solutions.
The role will require you to be the driving force for projects from initial scope, through to the implementation of the solution. Everything in the project will be clearly defined, from the benefits to the business to measuring each cost meticulously. The projects will be controlled by you, flowing through the project delivery lifecycle with each element carefully monitored to ensure care and attention to detail.
To be successful you will need to have had extensive experience in leading technical IT and business change projects and a great understanding of application and infrastructure maintenance and development. You will feel comfortable building new relationships within the business including senior management and leadership teams. You will need to be self motivated and a driver of your own personal development as well as others. We are looking for results driven people, who constantly seek opportunities for improvement, you will plan and control your own work whilst selecting and utilising appropriate methods, procedures and tools. Any project manager qualifications will also be a great bonus to your application!
