Software Delivery Manager required to fill a core role within one of Europe's largest Cloud Saas companies.
Taking responsibility for one of the core business streams you will work with multiple Scrum teams covering full line management along with technical best practice ensuring customer solutions are successfully delivered.
You will have an overview of all technical decisions, monitoring aspects of quality of code along with related line management of those delivering this. You will manage mixed scrum teams consisting of both Dev and QA covering all elements of career development/ career progression.
Along with this you will deliver projects closely aligned to Agile (Scrum) methodology working closely with scrum masters and products owners who will work closely with the rest of the team, along with interfacing with various heads of business to ensure efficiency across the wider engineering function.
Day to day this will consist of managing, mentoring, coaching and development for both Devs and QAs, management of work including capacity and resource management, technical decision making, promotion of best practices along with senior stakeholder engagement across the wider business.
To successfully apply you will need the following skills;
Strong technical background - Ideally a .NET/ C#, web API, Microsoft background
Good understanding around web development concepts such as web sites, applications and API's
Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle
Understanding around software architecture and related best practice
Good experience of managing (development) teams
