My client is a small privately owned company who are specialists in outerwear, nightwear and accessories design and import business based on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre. The company has strong customer base and the turnover has increased steadily year on year. A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a leading industry supplier for a Merchandiser to work closely with specific high street accounts ensuring their ranges are manufactured on time and to cost.
You will be responsible for communicating with internal teams as well as working closely with Far Eastern manufacturers to ensure collections are in line with critical paths. A high level of communication skills are required to succeed in this position as you will be responsible for highlighting any problems or delays and acting accordingly. You will be responsible for looking after your key accounts. You will raise orders to off-shore agents and factories and liaise with the Accounts Department regarding invoices and monthly movement reports
