Engineering Project Manager
Manage a multi-disciplined team of engineering staff employed on studies and projects for oil and gas pipelines and associated facilities. Represent the Company at meetings with senior staff from clients in the UK and overseas to maintain existing and secure new business. Provide specialist consultancy on oil and gas pipelines and as
Identify opportunities, negotiate and secure new consultancy and project work for the company worldwide. Maintain and develop existing client contacts to secure new business.
Prepare business development proposals and bids for new works and co-ordinate technical input to Business Development works
Prepare proposals and budgets for projects on oil and gas pipelines and associated facilities, gathering information, analysing technical and financial information, preparing implementation plans, preparing operating and control philosophies and presenting the detailed report to the client
Plan and prepare front end and conceptual design studies and reports for clients including various technical and commercial studies as required.
Plan and undertake consultancy projects, including the preparation of designs, specifications and documents, utilising the jobholder?s own expertise and additional engineering and operating discipline resources from other sections when required
Degree qualified, Chartered engineer or equivalent.
Professional expertise in design, project engineering and consultancy in oil or gas pipelines, and associated facilities.
Significant recent experience in management of teams in the oil and gas pipeline and associated industries. Some line management experience in multi-discipline teams preferred.
Technical self-sufficiency, with an understanding of other disciplines, and depth and range of management experience of projects and studies.
