Product Stewardship Expert - compliance activities (REACh, CLP, Chemical legislation)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an established product range and sector that is still growing through the use of innovative chemistry. Supporting one of the largest industries worldwide, our client boasts a rich history of success and is affected by a number of growing regulations.

As a Product Stewardship Adviser, you are responsible for the EMEA region to help assessment the impact of regulatory developments and advise the company on consequences. Much of this will involve understanding REACH regulation as well as CLP.

Supporting new product development, your responsibilities will be linked to more compliance activities. There will be no dossier preparation with this position, providing you a chance to move away from hands on activities to more startegic and operational.

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in chemistry or a related technical field. A strong organic chemistry background would be an advantage

Broad knowledge and proven field experience of chemical substance regulations (e.g EU-REACh, CLP) and regulatory reporting in the EMEA region

Experience in supporting the chemical regulatory compliance requirements of external customers

Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage, especially extended-SDS authorship and Substance Volume Tracking would be nice to have
