Nursery Practitioner and Apprentice- Dartford

Our clients' Nursery has a passion to provide exceptional standards of nursery care. They are a small setting in West Dartford with a friendly, family feel, only a few minutes' walk from the commuter train station. The nursery is designed to meet the needs of all children, with the standards of facilities, resources and nursery practitioners meeting only the highest standards.
Job Role: Nursery Practitioner
Hours: Full Time
Salary: £8.07 per hour (Starting from, dependant on experience and qualifications)
Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the development of children in the Early Years age range and to provide interesting learning opportunities. You will be monitoring and assessing children's progress ensuring correct records are maintained.
A main duty throughout will be to support the manager in every aspect of the setting's operation. You will be expected to have high expectations of the team, to ensure the expected high standards of child care are upheld always and to demonstrate their commitment to safeguarding children and young people within their work.
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards supporting children through their development
- Good communication both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively using a variety of methods to meet the needs of the individual.
- Experience within a nursery setting
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ Childcare (Level 2 may be accepted if willing to work towards Level 3)
Apprentice Nursery Practitioner
This is a permanent role based on full time hours. The salary will be discussed upon interview but will be starting at around £3.60 per hour and is depending on experience and qualifications. All candidates must be committed and hardworking in order to achieve the relevant qualifications.
