We have a wonderful new vacancy for an Assistant Imports Merchandiser to join our well established Bradford based client.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fashion/Textiles/Product Design graduate to join a well known and longstanding company.

Within the role you will support the Merchandisers with their administrative needs, ensuring the critical path remains on focus and track throughout the duration of all projects.

You will liaise with all elements, from shipping departments, factories & suppliers and customers, acting as the focal point of contact to manage expectations regarding project milestones.

Regularly preparing critical path analysis and reports, to feedback to the customer and ensure that relationships are nurtured and all customers requirements are fully understood and met.

As the first point of contact, you will answer queries regarding approvals, deliveries from factories, costings and production issues.
You'll negotiate with factories, shipping customers and the company to ensure that delivery dates are both realistic and achievable, and that all customer requirements are met.

You will also provide vital administrative and organisational support to the Senior Merchandisers, aiding them with any tasks in which they require support.

This is a very analytical role, we're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and excellent numerical skills.
An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.
