County Care is a specialist provider that delivers support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs within Surrey. We support individuals between the ages of 18-65 years old with all aspects of their daily lives, ensuring that they have maximum opportunities and choices for developing new skills. It is important to us to promote independence with our service users and give them the opportunity to access the community and lead a fulfilled life.

What is the Community Skills Project?

It is a programme that County Care runs to support people with learning disabilities, who are on the autistic spectrum or have mental health needs. Its main goal is to help people to lead purposeful lives with greater independence.

We?re looking for a person who will manage our project with a can-do attitude. Someone who believes that anyone can do anything if they set their minds to it and wants help others to reach their true potential. We believe that everyone deserves to be valued and if you are looking for a meaningful job and want to be part of a team that will bring purpose and value to people?s lives.

We need someone to plan and organise a variety of sessions throughout the week, who can manage people, ensure our participants? safety and find new and exciting projects in Woking. The project incorporates a huge variety of purposeful activities including:

  • Cooking
  • Helping find employment & volunteering
  • Sports & fitness
  • Arts and crafts
  • IT
  • Social Enterprises


  • You MUST have a valid licence to drive in the UK and use of a car to transport service users.
  • Due to the nature of the role a full enhanced DBS check will be done.
