University of London International Programmes collaborates with 18 Colleges of the University of London to offer flexible and distance learning programmes worldwide. These are delivered through the University of London International Programmes.

Since its formation in 1858, the University of London International Programmes has enriched the lives of thousands of students across the globe. It has become a global leader in distance and flexible study. The International Programmes now has over 50,000+ students and 100,000 alumni in more than 180 countries. Its alumni base is global and significant, including seven Nobel Prize winners.

The Marketing and Student Acquisition department, within which this role is located, works closely with other departments in the International Academy and in partnership with the University of London?s Colleges and other stakeholders, to develop the market for the University of London International Programmes.

The Role

The main aim of this Head of Marketing role is to develop and implement integrated campaigns using paid-for media, owned media, earned channels and events to increase student acquisition in key markets and to build brand recognition in the UK and internationally.

The scope of the role encompasses student acquisition campaigns and brand campaigns that support our network of overseas teaching institutions in achieving their recruitment targets.

The role encompasses advertising online and in traditional media; website content; content marketing; social media; printed collateral and events and email marketing.
