About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for an Equipment Technician to join our Plant & Fleet business unit to work in Derby.

What you'll be doing

As a Equipment Technician, you will:

* Participate in the annual stock take, constantly paying great attention to detail.
* Work in any of the three key areas of goods in, goods out or maintenance
* Complete all required paper work clearly and accurately.
* Understand and follow all relevant procedures on booking in/out and maintenance.
* Inspect equipment that has been sent to and from site/suppliers identifying quality, quantity and condition and ensuring that all items are booked in/out.

Who we're looking for
You will have:

* Experience of working as part of a team in a stores environment
* The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients
* Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
* Flexible approach to working hours and activities - Occasional site work required
* The ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
