Responsibilities: * Assist with the administration of deceased estates (both testate and intestate) * Draft Wills and Memorandums of Wishes * Experience with drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney; including registration and administration * Knowledge of Trusts (including administration and taxation thereof) * Detailed legal and factual research. * Analysing legal documents. * Assisting in drafting and reviewing and amending materials and documents. * Preparing and circulating legal updates for internal communication. * Proof reading. * Ability to work within a team of mixed discipline which includes accountants; IFAs and tax specialists * Demonstrate the commercial acumen required to further existing client relationships. * Accompany the solicitors and tax specialists to client meetings as required. Requirments: * A high standard of oral and written English (especially grammar and spelling). * High levels of concentration, accuracy and attention to detail. * A careful and methodical approach and the ability to cope with repetitive tasks. * Previous paralegal experience (6-18 months) * Experience of private client matters. * Experience of working in a fast-paced professional services environment. * Computer literate. * Ability to prioritise workload effectively and work autonomously as required. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
