Data Architect (Glasgow)
Harvey Nash's public sector client are actively seeking a Data Architect to join their Glasgow based office. You will direct the technical work of the data management practice in the programme. This work will cover wide range of services, with a focus on data modelling & architecture, BI, data and metadata standards, data quality & governance and data integration. You will have extensive experience of delivering projects similar to this previously and be confident in your approach. You will have demonstrable experience in architecting and implementing complex data architectures, along with strong diagnostic skills and a track record of solving complex issues. Essential Skills Experienced Data Architect with ability to translate requirements into technical solutions Solid experience of data modelling Ability to work autonomously, and in an Agile environment Can identify and address data quality issues in a timely manner Championing Data Architecture and Data Management within the organisation Leading the governance and assurance of Data, ensuring best practice and consistency Experience of at least one Architecture Framework, e.g. TOGAF, Zachman Excellent stakeholder management skills This is an initial 6 month contract on offer, with extensions thereafter.
