SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 keyworker in Year 2 Class |Primary School

You will be a recent psychology graduate who has gained at least a 2:1 in your degree. This role requires an enthusiastic graduate that is excited to make an impact on the school! To work with these SEN pupils you must have genuine aspirations in pursuing a career within education. Good communication skills and a resilient personality are of the upmost importance for this role, so do not worry if you haven't worked in a school before!

You will be an integral part of the schools inclusion team supporting learning within your strongest subjects. You will support learners who have specific learning and behaviour plans, and you will help them achieve their goals. You will work hand in hand with subject teachers and be key to the schools intervention strategy to ensure the best possible learning outcomes. This will be on a 1:1 or small group basis.

This supportive primary school has an incredible inclusion and special needs team with proven success of working with ambitious graduates keen to go on to further study in educational psychology or teacher training. The school is located in Leeds and has excellent links to public transport.
