This is an exciting opportunity in Daventry for a Service Engineer

Your impact will be seenin these and other ways:

  • Acting as technical liaison between the Cummins field service organization and the Engineering, Quality, & Manufacturing organizations

  • Identifying service issues & initiate problem solving

  • Manages with support failure analyses with Field Service, Warranty, and Engineering to communicate and define issues.

  • Partnering with distributors and customers to support the investigation of escalated product issues

  • Supporting product development teams and problem solving teams via the installation of field test engines or components and the monitoring and reporting of reliability data.

  • Participating during reviews to ensure the serviceability of new components and products including the monitoring of new product performance.

Qualifications

Skillsand Experience Required:

  • 7 Step Product Problem Solving Process

  • The ability to resolve product problems in the field

  • Excellent communication skills - Written And Verbal

  • Awareness of the basic processes and needs for a field investigation.

  • Knowledge of hazard analysis and its relevance.

RequiredEducation, Licenses or Certifications

  • College, university orequivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering
