Supplier Risk Analyst
An interesting opportunity has become available for a Supplier Risk Analyst working with an important leading Automotive Manufacturing company based in Swindon, to join the Financial Management team within Procurement and Logistics.

As Supplier Risk Analyst you will be supporting the company in managing and mitigating supplier financial and supply risk due to Brexit impact.
This is a new and exciting role which requires an autonomous and independent analyst, working primarily with internal procurement teams and external suppliers.

Working closely with suppliers, there will be the opportunity to travel when required to within the UK and wider EU, working when necessary on a one to one basis with the suppliers you are assessing, responsible for reporting your findings back to senior management, focussing primarily on any risk to production.

Job Purpose and responsibilities;

1) Process Development - Re-establish the process for analysing supplier risk, engage with the key stakeholders, review and recommend areas for improvement and deliver process improvements in a timely manner.

2) Analysis & Reporting - Create weekly reports on suppliers at risk, hold discussions with procurement teams on high risk suppliers, highlight areas of concerns and progress made with senior management.

3) Escalation and Supplier Management - Create working teams to address supplier concerns, open communications with supplier directly to highlight areas of concern, hold and chair face-to-face meetings with suppliers and escalate key concerns to senior management with recommendations for further action.

Required skills and experience:
*Analysing large amounts of data & manipulating in Excel
*Experience of interpreting financial reports and identifying the key issues
*Influencing and managing people in a constructive way
*Experienced and confident communicator
*Able to create and deliver presentations to all levels
*Ability to travel within the UK and Europe often at short notice
*Ability to implement processes to manage supplier risk

The following would be advantageous:
*Language skills other than English.
*Background in manufacturing, production or financial services.
