A thriving organisation in Derby are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join their team. If you can demonstrate experience of 'C''C' programming for the development of embedded drivers, then you could be the Hardware Engineer that we're looking for.

What will you be doing?

As a Hardware Engineer, you'll work on the development and validation of cutting-edge products for the computer graphics and digital video markets. You'll be involved in the design of bandwidth embedded sub-systems and will design hardware and software test benches. Your skills will be utilised when developing high speed digital and mixed signal systems based on FPGAsFPGAs or embedded video processes as well as embedded firmware drivers for FPGAFPGA functions and external ASSPASSP devices.

What skills/experience should you have?

  • Significant experience of working in an electronics development and testing position
  • Knowledge of VHDLVHDL or VerilogVerilog and an understanding of FPGAFPGA operation and tool flows
  • Excellent hardware debug and test skills
  • Ability to integrate board design, FPGAFPGA, firmware developments and software drivers
