Claims Handlers - Property

The RZ Group is currently working closely with a Building Surveying Company who are looking to recruit a number of Property Claims Handler's. This Claims Handler role requires excellent customer handling and organisation skills as you will be required to manage a case load of property claims efficiently and proactively in line with client specific requirements and service level agreements. Further duties include:

  • Settling/declining claims under delegated authority
  • Adhering to customer quality standards and service level agreements
  • Auditing surveyor reports
  • Communicating with customers and insurer clients over the telephone, email and in writing
  • Managing third party companies
  • Updating and creating building repair schedules using our in-house schedule of rates

Skills and experience required

  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Experience in handling property claims (My client will also look at candidates with motor claims experience but they must prove they are able to make the step across to property claims)
  • Demonstrate great communication and organisation

In return, my client is willing to offer a salary of £16,000 - £22,0000 depending on experience. On top of this you will receive:

  • Company Bonus Scheme
  • 3% contributory pension
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays - increased with service
