History Teacher I am working with a fantastic girls school based in Islginton. They are looking to take on a history teacher to start as soon as possible to cover a sickness absence in an ongoing capacity. This is a part time/full time position of 4/5 days a week teaching KS3/KS4 History and possibly KS5. You will be required to do marking, planning and prep for this position as well as teaching. The school itself offers a warm welcome to all staff. The school will be shortlisting candidates this week and will look to meet with teachers next week. This position is not suitable for NQTs. To be considered for this role applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status and possess a current DBS certificate registered on the update service. To be considered for this role please email an updated copy of your CV as soon as possible. The School This is a lovely 11-18 girls school based in Islington. During its last Oftsed inspection (2012) the school received a rating of "good" across the board, these high standards are reflected in the quality of grades achieved by students in the last academic year (62% 5+ A*-Cs). Most notably the last report highlighted the consistently good behaviour of pupils and the "high levels of respect" pupils show each other and staff. This is a wonderful school which plays a key role in the local community and would be an excellent place for a teacher to work.
