Student Voice Coordinator

A students union based in Coventry are looking for a well organised Student Voice Coordinator who has a pragmatic approach to coordinate activities and engage with student members with the Students Union democratic processes.

As a Student Voice Coordinator, you will be required to promote and raise awareness of student elected officer roles and actively encourage students to put themselves forward. You will be responsible for the set up and run elections. It is essential that you have an understanding of current higher education needs and issues, as you will mentor and support our student and elected members to ensure their student voice makes a real difference to the student experience at the University.

It is also essential that the Student Voice Coordinator holds training experience as you will coordinate and deliver training to a range of student officers, ensuring they are equipped to understand their role, the Articles of Association, including bye-laws, and how the University's structure works.

This post is working full-time 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
