A leading manufacturing organisation, due to growth are now looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their existing team based in Devizes, Wiltshire

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful individual will be responsible for the monthly management, financial accounting and reporting for their associate technology business in Poole, Dorset and other related head office and European projects.

You will be responsible for monthly management accounts including month end close routines, journal posting and control account reconciliations; monthly management reporting including analysis and commentary on the P&L and Balance Sheet, ensuring adherence to corporate reporting deadlines; weekly reports including invoiced sales, incoming orders, and order backlog; monthly cash flow management and forecasting; improve inventory management procedures and controls; support annual plan preparation and reporting; prepare annual financial accounts; lead the development and review of internal financial controls.

The successful individual will be degree qualified in a business discipline and be part or fully qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CPA/ICAEW) with experience of working in a manufacturing environment; completion of all month end close activities, monthly management reporting, cash flow forecasting and year-end audit; excellent IT skills Microsoft Office in particular Excel.

Individuals that have an appreciation or experience with statutory account preparation and filing; Netsuite / SAP; Sarbanes Oxley compliance and familiarity with US and UK GAAP would be of distinct interest, though not essential.

This position is offering a salary of up to £40,000 together with 25 days holiday, contributory pension and life assurance schemes.

The role with involve monthly visits to the clients site in Poole
