DevOps - Enterprise Data Management - Asset Management - £700-850/Day - London

Our client is a leading asset management house based in the city; they are looking to implement a brand new enterprise data management system (NeoXam Data Hub) and need an experienced DevOps specialist to come on-board for a long-term contract. This role is paying between £700-850 per day and will be a 12-month rolling contract. You will report to the software integration manager.

We are looking for someone who has experience in Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and who is familiar with different EDM systems. We need a technical DevOps consultant who understands how data models work within a financial environment (asset management or investment banking).

You will be responsible for assisting and implementing the demands of the investment and data teams with all requirements regarding data infrastructure, functional improvements and bug fixing.

Although there are business analysts in the team, you will need to feel comfortable facing the business and dealing with key stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:
*Experience with Enterprise Data Management Systems
*Ability to write high quality code/scripting
*Hands-on experience in software implementation and support
*Understanding of trades and position management for IBOR implementation
*MSSQL/Oracle/Sybase knowledge
*Knowledge of java
*Software development background
*Knowledge of business analysis and comfortable facing the business

The ideal candidate will have asset management experience, however candidates who have a background in investment banking will also be considered.

Interviews can take place next week and an immediate start is preferred, however we can accommodate a 4-week notice period if necessary.
