IT Service Desk Manager / London / £35,000 - £37,000 FTC

Based in impressive offices in North West London, Franklin Bates have the pleasure of working with a prestigious non-profit making organisation, this ever-expanding specialist department are professionals in improving structures around the UK. The IT department of this company are looking for a capable, enthusiastic individual to join them as a Service Desk Manager to help lead their support function and deal with a business merger and fresh IT set up.

You will be very user centric, have huge visibility to the rest of the business and be well prepared to align structures and ITIL process into their busy Support function. The key to this role will be the engagement with company departments and understanding stakeholder management in order to streamline processes. You will be managing the service desk with 2 or 3 other support engineers across 1st ? 3rd line and have exposure to Tech and administration elements of the business. You will be reliable, friendly and understand IT at a reputable level.

Key skills:

  • 4+ years? experience with hands on 2nd ? 3rd line support experience, installing and configuring hardware and software in a commercial environment
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL processes
  • Good time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Customer facing approach and a keen attitude
  • Experience with Infrastructure, Windows, HP / Dell servers and Office would be a bonus

You will be based out of their impressive offices in North West London and they are offering £35,000 - £37,000 depending on experience.
