Meraki Talent’s Global Financial Services client has a requirement for a Project Manager to join their team in Edinburgh where you will support the Head of Delivery by being responsible for the successful delivery of projects and by providing professional project management for one or more projects at any given time. The Project Manager will be a critical appointment and therefore we are keen to speak to high-calibre individuals with a strong Project Management track-record. Ideally, you will also have considerable experience within Financial Services environment and experience of Employee Benefits. Key Responsibilities: Working alongside IT, Risk and Compliance to maintain a consistent approach to vendor management Develop and maintain strategic global relationships that will deliver commercial and contractual value Embed Procurement principles, guidelines & criteria Oversee new supplier selection, integrating these new suppliers Collaboratively drive commercial and procedural improvements across organisation Review and analyse global trends Support the overall governance of the Procurement/ Supply Chain programme Background of the Position: Experience of working with a Supplier Relationship / Procurement role within Financial Services Good experience of working with 3rd party supplies / vendors / contractors Excellent relationship building skills, able to work with various departments and managers Self-motivator with good organisational and time management skills Experience in working and communicating effectively with all levels of the business Strong analytical and IT system skills Risk Management Communication and influencing This is an excellent opportunity, which comes with a competitive package, and the chance to work for an industry leader.
