Responsibilities:

* Serve as an independent check and balance as an extension of the senior management team across risk management and risk mitigation activities
* Implement framework for services execution aligned with the terms of the contract
* Facilitate strong communication and mutual education between management teams in order to execute on a clear engagement model
* Proactively manage and prioritise contracting workflow and issue escalation
* Assist in the review and development of new services
* Work directly with Legal & Compliance teams across EMEA as relevant to identify and address any regulatory risks

Requirements:

* Undergraduate degree, specialisation in law advantageous, 15+ years' experience
* Candidates who have held in-house legal positions at a financial services or management consulting services firms preferred
* Highly innovative with a commercial outlook - always looking for ways to improve and enhance delivery, exuding an entrepreneurial can-do attitude
* Demonstrated ability to learn business requirements quickly, analyse legal and commercial risks and propose creative, commercial and business-oriented solutions
* Self-motivated, flexible and proactive team player willing to go the extra mile every time and learn as they go
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally across geographies and work with multiple stakeholders
* Mature outlook with the ability to handle highly sensitive data in a discrete manner
* Foreign language skills a plus - German, Italian, Dutch, French and Spanish in particular should be an advantage
