Sales Manager / Financial Planner
Our client is a sizeable accountancy business and they are seeking to develop their current financial services offering. They are therefore looking to hire an experienced financial planner who can develop, grow and ultimately oversee the division, managing a small team of advisers and support staff.
Directly authorised, the firm does currently provide basic financial advice but are keen to expand the offering. They can provide access to a sizeable client base (over 10,000 individuals) and can provide ongoing leads given the number of new clients (typically contractors) who are using their services across the UK. They also have clients paying ongoing advice fees for a basic review service; scope exists to upgrade many of these clients to a more comprehensive service and one that charges more.
Given the clientele and the company?s plans, it would be highly advantageous for any applicant to be G60/AF3 qualified in order that they can develop the at retirement offering. Candidates will be existing advisers with CAS/SPS and either have experience of hiring/managing others or significant industry experience and the ability to develop as the role develops. Within three years it is expected that the successful incumbent will oversee the team and report directly to the board.
The accountancy firm has achieved its success through providing services over the telephone, through webinars and new technology. This role will follow the same model and any candidate will need to be comfortable with this. There will be some face to face work but it is expected to be minimal.
On offer is an attractive salary, OTE of £75,000 and the exciting opportunity of growing a team/division from scratch.
