The Role - SEN Teacher
I am currently looking for an SEN Teacher that has had previous experience working in a fast paced, challenging environment. You will be teaching numeracy and literacy at a low level to a class of 8 children in years 5 and 6. The children you will be teaching have specific learning difficulties, dyspraxia and dyslexia as well as challenging behaviour which is why behaviour management is a necessity. You will be supported throughout the day by two teaching assistants and you must be able to plan your lessons in order to help the children enjoy their learning experience as well as keeping them involved and engaged in their learning. For this particular SEN teaching role you must hold a valid QTS, have at least 2 years UK teaching experience and be able to start working immediately.
The School- SEN Teacher
Based in the London Borough of Barnet, this school caters to the needs of the children aged 7-11 who suffer with specific learning difficulties and behavioural problems. The main aim of this SEN school is to create a school that every child enjoys, and to make both students and staff feel comfortable and safe throughout the school day. The school pride themselves of the relationship between teacher and pupils so finding the right person for this role is key.
