The company are looking for a London based Category Sourcing Manager to join their EMEA Global Corporate Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and controllership of indirect spend categories locally, regionally and globally. Such categories will be: professional services, employee benefits, facilities, software, marketing etc. We are looking for someone who can step in to a leadership position with the ability to form strong partnerships with business leaders and their teams in order to define needs and requirements as well as identify the best suppliers. Moreover, someone who will be able to negotiate pricing, terms and performance for the company.

Key responsibilities (not limited to):

*Collaborate with business and finance leaders to identify savings and controllership improvements;

*Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement principles and processes and maintain procurement ethics in accordance with the company's global policies;

*Work closely with the business teams to understand their purchasing needs and select the best suppliers to achieve long-term goals while focusing on total cost of ownership;

*Identify and manage sourcing and supplier engagement activities including strategic sourcing plans, bid and proposal reviews, negotiations, contract awards, etc;

*Develop negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers;

*Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models and bench marking analysis;

*Prepare and hold business reviews with local stakeholders to review vendor performance, future opportunities and/or challenges;

*Implement supply and supplier risk management actions and support resolution of supplier quality or performance issues;

*Analyse industry and market to proactively identify supply base issues to reduce cost, minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit emerging opportunities that benefit the company.

Basic Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required;

*Extensive experience relevant to Strategic Sourcing experience, preferably within an Indirect Procurement function at a multinational corporation with national and global contracts;

*In-depth understanding of sourcing, contracting, negotiation, etc.;

*Extensive knowledge of contract terms and conditions;

*Extremely customer focused and takes the time to understand the needs of the business;

*Outstanding partnering, influencing and negotiation skills;

*Strong communication skills both verbal and written;

*Ability to interpret financial data and apply to decision making;

*Attention to detail and ability to prioritise in a complex, fast-paced environment;

*Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organisation, time management, and problem solving skills.

Preferred qualifications

*MBA or Master's Degree

*Experience in Project Management as well as in corporate services sourcing (especially Marketing, professional services)

*Six Sigma Certification
