Test Analyst Manual & Automated Tester

Fantastic opportunity to join a leading client of ours in the Chelmsford area. We're looking at speaking with candidates interested in joining a progressive development environment, within an organisation that is about to embark on an exciting period of growth, having received financial investment for their market leading product.

You will join an Agile team, and be tasked with carrying out both manual and automated testing duties. The automation side of this role will be using in-house test tools, so candidates who have the ability to use some scripting languages would be very well suited. If candidates are also able to display a level of development knowledge that would be very beneficial, due to the low-level nature of the product, there is no element of UI testing in this vacancy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and maintaining automation test scripts, create test cases, and manage the whole testing of a user story. You can also expect to read user stories and, in conjunction with developers, identify manual tests to validate them.

To be a good match for this role, you're likely to be able to display an ability of using automated testing tools, be familiar with continuous integration, agile and waterfall environments, and be a self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and develop. With the forecasted growth plans, we're looking for someone who is willing to help push team members forward and contribute to the development of those around them.

With experience of a similar role, or knowledge acquired during study, candidates need to display an understanding of the SDLC and the part that Software Testing plays within that.

For further information on this interesting opportunity, please get in touch with Will at TEC Partners. We'll be able to give you a full insight in to the role and our client and be happy to progress an application on your behalf.
