French/English Speaking VIP Service Desk / Desktop support engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a French/English speaking Service Desk / Desktop support engineer to join well established blue chip organisation at their prestigious offices in London Piccadilly.

As a French/ English speaking VIP Service Desk / Desktop support engineer you will
be responsible for helping the team with an office move working as part of the Service Desk Technology team in the London Piccadilly Office. The UK Office is composed of 36 people with 15 VIPs.

As a VIP Service Desk/ Desktop support engineer you will Report to the Technology Service Desk Manager. You will deliver IT support and service excellence to the London office and other offices in the world.

As a VIP support engineer you will be sensitive to the protocol and needs of the office.
The VIP support engineer will excel in service delivery, technical ability and mobility support.
Drive service excellence through ITIL based continuous improvement planning and regular stakeholder service reviews.

Support and maintain local hardware infrastructure at London Piccadilly office, interfacing with wider internal teams where appropriate.

In conjunction with the Technology Service Desk, act as single point of contact for the office, diagnosing breakdowns/faults and taking corrective, remedial action as necessary.

Support for all existing IT related provided equipment such as PCs, printers, Cisco IP phones, mobiles and tablets/laptops.

? Assistance with testing and integrating new IT provided equipment as required.
? All software support requirements for standard office applications such as Microsoft Office as well as internal applications.
? Cisco Visio conference room support from testing AV equipment and connectivity prior to the beginning of meetings and being on standby if problems occur during meetings.
? Other projects such as offsite conference support as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
? Experience in an executive-level hands-on desk side support role required.
? A motivated, innovative and committed individual is required to succeed in this role.
Prepared to demonstrate an enormous amount of flexibility by being 'highly available' to the London office and ensuring that they are sufficiently supported at all times.

Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office software, Cisco IP Phone and network.

Proficient with PC hardware repair and can troubleshoot/resolve software and operating system issues on Microsoft products.

Excellent communication skills, professional appearance and customer service skills required.

Language: English and French.
