We are recruiting in our Coldstore of our Hanworth for a Dairy Operative to maintain and ensure accurate order picking (to agreed standards) following procedures which include: picking, loading on to transport modules, pulling and loading orders for inbound and outbound delivery - ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct. This role requires all applicants to hold a Counterbalance FLT licence Dairy operators will handle, transfer, and maintain inventory in such a way as to efficiently respond to the demands of our customers and order demand. Your Challenge: * To be able to communicate daily in a professional manner with your colleagues and supervisors * Perform basic administration duties to include Despatch Notes, pick lists and other relevant paperwork * Assist in stock control, rotation and reconciliation processes * Carry out and implement perpetual inventory control procedures * To pick and load customer orders accurately and within agreed time limits * To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team * To keep your work area clean and tidy * To maintain and practice high levels of Health and Safety standards and at all times * To achieve and contribute to key cold store targets (KPI`s) and to maintain job standards set out by your Team Leaders/Supervisors * Duties will involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting * To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work * To perform any reasonable request from Team Leaders/Supervisors * Assisting in making sure - all loaded "finished goods" are loaded safely onto departing vehicles. * Pick, stage and load customer orders onto delivery vehicles * Process returned goods from customers * Segregate and process returned waste product in line with company recycling policies * Complete daily housekeeping to ensure a clean and tidy work environment Knowledge and Experience: * Must have Counter Balance Fork Lift licence * Attention to detail * Numerate and literate * Intermediate Computer Skills * Ability to follow instructions * Ability to work under pressure paying strict attention to detail * Ability to work as a team * Organised and methodical * Work in accordance to all relevant Work Instructions and Procedures * To be able to work in challenging work environments and conditions * Working (at times) independently using their own judgment and initiative during the pick process * Good timekeeping and reliability.
