Immediate requirement for an experienced credit controller, Full Time, £11 Per hour, Manchester based.
Your new company
I am currently recruiting for 3 credit controllers for this nationally recognised service sector organisation. My client has recently merged and as a result this has created the opportunity to recruit several roles. As the adopted ledger is new, my client has decided to recruit on a temporary basis and look at perm needs in the new year.
Your new role
The position will be based around your strengths as there are vast types of debt outstanding, ranging from within payment terms to 60+ days aged debt. You will be utilised where necessary to get the ledger under control. You will be chasing debt, allocating cash, and dealing with queries.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a solid background in credit control to be considered for the roles. My client requires candidates that can get straight to work and help get the new ledger in order as quick as possible. You must be happy working with a degree of autonomy and you need to be confident enough to suggest changes to the current process. You will encounter many queries so you will be required to liaise with the sales team and senior managers to resolve.
What you'll get in return
If successful you will begin as a temporary member of staff with an ideal start date before 15th December. The temporary role will be expected for at least 3 months. My client will recruit the roles as permanent in the new year when the need has been identified. At worst you will be given an opportunity to help set up a new credit department, at best you could be hired permanently and assist the building of a team long term.
