IT Service Support Engineer
An experienced IT Service Support Engineer is required for a support role within an established team supporting predominantly Microsoft Windows environments across multiple sites maintaining varied applications.
This role provides an opportunity to work as part of a department that delivers exceptional levels of support to a demanding business, as such the environment is fast paced and attention to detail is critical. Candidates will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to utilise technical ability to support the environments and contribute to progressive enhancement projects.
A suitable candidate should have the knowledge and technical ability to provide mentoring and guidance to other team members in support roles.
The main components of this position are:
?Provision of IT service support to users, within defined Service Level Agreements
?Troubleshooting IT hardware/software faults through diagnosis
?Monitoring and responsive tasking for IT systems
?Managing several open tasks at one time
?Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with users
?Working within a team to deliver new infrastructure and application projects

?Hardware: PC architecture / Server Architecture

?Tools & Methodologies: LAN / Network Infrastructure / WANs / Active Directory
?Applications: Microsoft Office, SharePoint
?Qualifications: HND/HNC or equivalent in an IT related subject
?Other: Valid full UK driving licence
?Hardware: Brief understanding of Firewalls / Routers
?Tools & Methodologies: Familiar with concepts of Group Policy / WSUS / Centralised Support Services e.g. Anti-Virus, Applications, Log management, Monitoring; ITIL Foundation
?Applications: Microsoft Visio, Exchange
?Markets: IT Support Service
?Other: Experience in quality controlled environment; ISO 9001, ISO 27001
