Underwriting Specialist / Underwriting Manager - London - £45,000 - £55,000 p.a. - Amazing Benefits - Rapidly Growing Company - International Exposure - Medical & Dental Insurance -

Underwriting Manager/Specialist is required for an international company who manages partnerships with more than 135 prime insurers in over 110 countries.

Over time it has become a leading player in its market. The ambition of the shareholders who are amongst the world`s leading insurance groups, is to make the company the number one network in terms of international benefits.

The company manages business and relationships with over 700 multinational companies. The objective and ambition is to grow and double in size by 2020.

The successful Underwriting Manager/Specialist will focus on the international market scope and MUST have:

- Degree level educated (or equivalent);
- Experience in International employee benefits, group disability or group medical underwriting;
- Strong knowledge of International Employee Benefits, Life, Disability, Medical, Dental and Reinsurance;
- Good verbal, written and quantitative analysis communication skills;

Underwriting Manager / Specialist Duties:

- Prepare responses to insurance protection and medical biddings, coordinate responses to technical questions related to global request for proposal for new or existing multinational customers, proposes a profitable technical solution that is tailored to the client needs and competitive proposal of other competitors ;
- Review and approve customer illustrations related to second-stage accounting for reinsured business
- Provide support for implementing management and production when the business is conclusive;
- Lead work with local offices around the world to facilitate inclusion of policies into global employee benefits programs;
- Manage a small portfolio of complex high intensity and sophisticated pooling and captive employee benefits programs;
- Analyse trends and performance of each global programme;
- Understand the insurance regulatory system.
