Helpdesk Engineer- 2nd/3rd line Support- Scunthorpe

£21-24k- Excellent training and progression!

A global firm based in Scunthorpe with an impressive portfolio of clients across a wide array of sectors such as; Oil and Gas, Transport and Infrastructure, Gaming and Hotels are looking for a Helpdesk Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity and provides the opportunity to develop into many different areas of the business depending on the individuals aspirations.

My client is looking for a Help Desk Engineer to work as part of the Help Desk team dealing with incoming queries/support requests from multiple communication channels. Working to ensure that all customer interactions run effectively with full adherence to contractual requirements and SLAs.

Essential skills and experience include:

- IP Networking (TCP/IP,UDP, sub netting, routing)
- 2nd/3rd line technical support experience
- Client facing experience
- Project based activities such as continuous improvement, Lean, 5S etc.
- Adhering to maintenance contract SLA's
- Investigating, troubleshooting and fault finding complex software and hardware support cases
- CCTV/ alarm system support experience (beneficial)
- Microsoft qualifications (MCSA, MCSE, MCITP) (beneficial)
- SQL knowledge (beneficial)
