This Top Tier Bank is one of the largest financial institutions in the world, with a strong presence in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Private Banking. This role sits within the Security Services arm part of the Custodian Business. Despite its size, the Financial Crime function has held on to its excellent culture, having built up a robust function due to strong endorsement from senior leadership. This role as a Business Manager within Financial Crime Governance is an exciting role to be involved with a broad range of tasks within a global organisation. You will support the manager in developing and maintaining the organisational blueprint, managing headcount, attending meetings, improving financial crime governance processes across the global organisation.

Some responsibilities may include:

* Support the review of the financial crime business framework
* Maintain the financial crime COO functional governance frameworks
* Manage meetings, agenda, scribe minutes, circulate actions and follow ups across financial crime and governance and interact with executive level leaders within the business
* Work with internal and external stakeholders and executive management across financial crime, risk, HR, audit and finance at regional and Group levels
* Ensure internal and external regulatory requirements are met and all staff and activities comply with existing regulations
* Responsible for managing headcount within financial crime and budget approvals

It is essential the individual is proactive and can work collaboratively across all areas. You must have strong organisation, planning, communication and senior stakeholder engagement skills.


To be considered for this job, you will have the following experience:

* Experience of resource and business planning within an international banking environment
* Experience of governance role within financial services
* Experience / understanding of compliance and financial crime is an advantage
* Demonstrated experience in managing customer and stakeholder issues and demonstrated strong relationship management
* Understanding of external banking environment - regulatory, political and competitive
* Prior experience within HR and/or recruitment is an added advantage
