The Access Management Team is a new team created to be the central point of contact for all authorised requests for access to all IT systems, services and installed applications for all 11,000 users from Essex Police and Kent Police.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to be part of this team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a career move into an IT environment.

The Access Management Analyst will be responsible for the processing and co-ordination of all requests ensuring appropriate, timely responses and keeping customers appraised of progress. Managing the lifecycle of access from new starters to leavers and all changes of access required in between times.

Customer service skills are integral to this role, with the post holder needing to support customers through the access management process. Good communication and interpersonal skills, accuracy and attention to detail is essential. You will have a high level of proficiency in maintaining approved working practices, systems and standards associated with the work of the Access Management Team.

In addition you must have an appreciation of the basic use and application of a wide range of technology including desktop/mobile data and communications technology, in a client-server environment, including but not limited to office automation or productivity packages such as MS Office and email clients.

It is desirable, that you hold an ITIL accreditation as your role includes the understanding of processes supporting Access Management; you will also have knowledge of Service Level Agreements.
