Nine Twenty are now recruiting for a DevOps Engineer to work on a permanent basis in the Edinburgh location. Your chance to work for a successful and supportive Technology Company. In this role you will be across our clients entire software delivery pipeline to define, design and deliver a consistent and programmable process for continuous integration and continuous delivery. Other responsibilities: Develop, plan and implement environments for different stages of the delivery life cycle Develop, plan and implement release management to support continuous integration and continuous deployment Monitor and manage appropriate access levels to various environments Control cloud infrastructure Implement health monitoring and alerting, ensuring health alerts are managed and dealt with Create scripts to provide temporary environments for the various delivery teams Manage environmental configuration setting Provide environmental support to delivery teams to maximise efficiency Knowledge Required for this role: Ability to keep abreast of new and emerging technologies Expert understanding of a cloud based, micro service infrastructure Ability to build and articulate a business case to propose new solutions to the organisation Monitor and manage various environments within a defined budget set by senior management Experience required: Experience of developing within an industry standard Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool development experience in a cloud based, micro service infrastructure experience in the management of a RBDMS/NoSQL infrastructure and Experience integrating DevOps in to a continuous integration and continuous deployment i nfrastructure Proven experience in championing new and emerging technologies where appropriate Experience on Azure Experience with configuration management tools ( Chef) Shell scripting , (PowerShell preferred) Please apply today for immediate consideration.
