HR Compliance Administrator

Purpose of Role:

To provide an accurate, prompt and efficient support and guidance on all areas of HR Compliance, ensuring that the service standards and operational performance targets are met, delivering a high quality, timely, accurate and efficient customer focused function.

Your role will involve:

Monitor, manage and maintain ongoing HR compliance activities in line with role requirements including DBS/PVG, Right to Work, SSSC, NMC, Manager Registration and highlight any concerns or areas requiring attention

Provide guidance and support to colleagues on Right to Work, visas and sponsorships

Produce high quality, accurate reports and data on all areas of HR Compliance

Escalate complex queries to HR Support Manager in a timely manner

Maintain and record colleague personal information accurately, securely and in line with data protection requirements.

Monitor and alert line manager of all colleagues whose SSSC registration/NMC registration/Right to Work is about to expire

Liaise with external Regulatory Bodies such as DBS, Disclosure Scotland, Home Office, SSSC on a regular basis to ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date

Acknowledge all customer emails at point of receipt and respond with 24 hours.

Ensure activities are undertaken efficiently, accurately and in accordance with Company policy and procedural framework and agreed service standards.

Fosters and takes advantage of continuous learning activities to support new procedures, technologies and customer service initiatives.


Good general level of education including GCSE Mathematics and English.

Can quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent customer service skills.

Concise and accurate record keeping skills and the ability to interpret information and report back.

IT literate to include the use of Microsoft Office.

Ability to prioritise and plan time effectively.

Working to tight deadlines whilst responding to last minute changes within these.


12 Months previous HR administrative support experience in a busy people focused environment.

Previous experience within a compliance role, with full knowledge of regulatory bodies and legal requirements.
