Customer Marketing Executive
An exciting opportunity for a Customer Marketing Executive to join a dynamic and fast growing leisure company. The Sales and Marketing team are responsible for marketing to potential and existing customers to ultimately result in the company hitting targets. The Marketing Executive role includes a variety of tasks including database management to build and deliver email marketing campaigns, creating content, analytics and loyalty strategy. The team also ensures the brand is correctly represented internally and externally and works with a number of partners to raise awareness of the product.

Customer database management: To maximise the commercial power, ensuring that the objectives and values are demonstrated in day to day interactions with colleagues and customers.
Email campaigns: Work with the Customer Direct Marketing Manager to build and deliver email marketing campaigns and assist with the additional channels of direct mail, referral programmes and loyalty schemes.
Analytics: Create and maintain dedicated surveys/landing pages, manage customer data, analyse results, log and learn from campaign analytics,
Customer: Assist with acquisition of new customers via referral scheme, Assist with implementation of customer loyalty strategy, Assist the planning and implementation of dynamic email content
Budgets: Keep track of invoices with supplier, ensure on target and revenue goals achieved
Customer database management experience in a similar role and the ability to help shape an integrated customer direct communication and contact strategy; alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail; you will have the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage your time effectively, whilst demonstrating creative thinking.
You will have previous experience of working with an email service provider and be able to manage the operation of email campaigns in an email platform. You will be analytical, be able to interpret campaign figures and produce standard reports. You will need to create relevant, targeted, engaging content for newsletters and e-shots, identify key customer segments, plan subsequent communications and set up new emails. You will also assist with the acquisition of new customers via a referral scheme.
- Experience in marketing within B2C markets
- Leisure and tourism background advantageous
- Marketing experience within a commercial, results oriented culture
- Experience of multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Experience of customer acquisition and retention
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to proof read copy.
- Good copywriting skills.
- Good understanding of customer profile, product and competitors.
- Excellent planning and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good background in offline and online marketing communications and strategies
- Basic Photoshop and/or HTML knowledge desirable.
- Experience of Dotmailer or another email marketing platform
